123 Pediatric Home Health Care in Pittsburgh is approved by the PA Bureau of Autism and Office of Developmental Programs to offer enhanced community housing to persons with intellectual disability (Autism spectrum disorders, Asperger’s syndrome, Intellectual Development disorders, and other neurodevelopmental disorders). Community housing ervices are provided in a safe environment, and delivered in our owned and operated licensed residential single family home. Services are provided to protect the health and welfare of individuals by assisting them in acquiring, retaining, and improving self-help, socialization, employment skills, and adaptive skills. Services consist of support in the general areas of self-care, communication, fine and gross motor skills, mobility, therapeutic activities, personal adjustment, relationship development, socialization, and use of community resources.

Enhanced staffing may be utilized in residential settings and involves three possible components, which are treated as add-ons to the traditional Residential service, which include: 

• The provision of the residential habilitation by licensed nurses;
• The provision of supplemental habilitation staffing, as part of the licensed residential service, to meet temporary medical or behavioral needs of the individual; and/or;
• The provision of home and community based services other than habilitation (ex. physical therapy) as part of the residential service to meet the needs of individuals living there.
